To provide a Team Building program, either recreational or formal, suitable to the requirements of each individual client and to assist Teams to start to perform better by exposing them to Strategic Team Development principals, by means of our Games and Challenges.

We use the Nature and Culture rich Umkomaas surroundings for corporate teams to take up the challenges & games. Situated 45km south from Durban, we made the picturesque Riva Valley Club, a farm bordering the Ocean on the one side and the Great River on another side, our base. We can accommodate as any as 35 participants on a ½ or full day's Team Building, and if you are more, we build in Slip'n slide Tug of War, Quad Biking and Boat Surf launches.

Alternatively, we bring our expertise and activities to the venue of your choice. Our facilitators are skilled at a variety of recreational, as well as formal, outcomes based Team Development programs and events.

In the event of our client requiring formal intervention, we follow thorough researched programs, in consultation with the relevant role players. Our facilitator/s climb aboard your Team yacht and intervene in its course, helping to trim the sails and to steer it into a straight, more efficient course.

In addition, our Venue offers 1) Conference facilities for as many as 35 in one room, or 60, spread between two facilities, and 2) Accommodation for 12 guests on 2­ sharing basis, in modern Guest House style. In the event of extra beds required, no frills­ no fuss yet quality accommodation and tasty meals for 60+ guests is provided for at LaLa Manzi.

Our caterers shall provide any additional meals in style, upon your request. Overnight Team Builds are ideal, as our Braai on the grassy river bank, with Bon fire and optional Drumming session/ circle is a favourite Feel Good end of any Team Building day, and a relaxed introduction to the following day's activities.

Price starts at R 580 per person and varies, depending on the extent of our services and the amount of participants. We gladly furnish quotations, based upon the requirements of our client.

X(cross) Adventure Challenge
This easy outdoor series of pursuits have been designed to be FUN, yet provides a perfect background for Team Development and a relaxed atmosphere for participants to get to know each other, and to discover each other's value as part of a team.

Tribes of 4 - 8 individuals each complete tasks, acquiring bonus or penalty points, related to time or skill. 'Time' and 'skill' tasks follow each other and points acquired often determine the difficulty of the task that follows (improved 'survivor style'). Depending on tribe choice, some members or all of the tribe members get assigned (by the tribe) to the active part of the task, while the remaining members provide implementation or moral support. Tasks flow into each other, assuring the minimum idle time.

Each tribe starts with the same amount of beans, representing points. As the challenge progress, they obtain or lose performance related penalty and bonus points.

Our venue sets the scene !: Just out of the city (45 minutes); yet right out of city slickers' environments and comfort zones. The action is both 'jock' and 'whoos' friendly and provides a wide enough variety, in order for us to offer you that's right for you !

Interactive Drumming
We contract a professional Drumming company that provides a unique and innovative range of programs that specialize in teambuilding and are also suitable for conferences, launches, stress relief and celebrations. Out of the hundreds of "teambuilding" activities available, only one can offer a shared group experience like drumming. Many other activities simply only succeed in pushing your staff into situations they are uncomfortable with or isolating other members who are not as physically capable as others. Teambuilding like drumming is about learning to listen to one another and to co-operate together in a safe, fun environment designed to relax you rather than intimidate. Drumming is not about competition; it is about cooperating together as one company and sharing an enhanced group synergy together as one company.
