  • ½ to ¾ day, including lunch.
  • Starts 0830 or 1300.
    We bring you up close and personal with 'Township' life in South Africa, vibrant, colourful and intense with character. Witness relics of the Fall of Apartheid, historical uprisings, street Butcheries, squatter camps, mad Taxi ranks and more. A Shebeen or township Restaurant owner serves you lunch, local style.

    Cost: R 520 per person. Minimum charge: R 1 190.

    Jo'burg/ Pta: A selection of - Soweto (Hector Peterson Museum, Mandela's house, Freedom Square), - Apartheid museum(optional etra), - Constitution Hill, - Tembisa, - Mamelodi, - Marabastad.
    Durban: A selection of - Inanda Heritage Route, - Umgababa rural town (Zulu Traditional dancing optional extra), - Phezulu (Cultural Village)/ ZULU Fire (Cultural Experience) (Optional extra), Trans Africa Express (restaurant).

  • Tours can include other places of interest, e.g. markets/ Cultural Art galleries, time dependant
  • Chlidren (12 and younger) pays 60 % of per person price. Minimum charge applicable.
