The Game Wildernesses within 1 to 2 hours reach from the cities are relatively small, compared to the Kruger Park and the likes. However, they offer rich Game Experiences, often with an astonishing variety of Animals, birds and vegetation, more accessible and concentrated than that of the big areas. In most, the game is indigenous. The park we visit from Johannesburg, Pilanesberg, even offers the Big 5 of Africa !

Cost:
Jo'burg/ Pta - R 625 per person. Minimum charge: R 1 490.
Durbs - R 390 per person. Minimum charge: R 890.

Includes:

Jo'burg/ Pta: - a 2 ½ to 3 ½ hour safari drive through the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, - return scenic drive to the park, - picnic lunch by river/ dam.
Durban: - Safari drives in both Tala & Gwahumbe Game reserves, - return scenic drive to the parks, - picnic lunch by river/ dam.

To upgrade your Safari onto an Open safari vehicle: R 270.
This tour can include leisure time at Sun City (Open Safari vehicle upgrade compulsory)
